Columbia's Public Schools

The Columbia School District is Accredited with Distinction by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, citing such educational advantages as:

The district's average daily attendance is from 93% to 95% and the dropout rate is 4% to 5%. Eighty to 90% of Columbia students extend their education beyond high school. More than 70% attend a college or university.
